Annual salary: up to £28,917.00

Business Support Officer

Hammersmith & Fulham

Full Time, Permanent

Salary: £28,350 per annum

About the Role:

The primary reporting line will be to the General Manager; however, the role includes a close working relationship with Supervisors and Administrators.

  • Ensure best practice for the control and audit of van stocks, fleet arrangements, plant, all working at height activities, and waste disposal.
  • Office-based administration and health & safety compliance management.
  • Support onboarding and induction of new employees.
  • Organize and record toolbox talks for operatives, ensuring they are scheduled in their diaries.
  • Support health & safety training completion.
  • Scan and store compliance documents.
  • Order office supplies and uniforms.

Role Criteria:

  • Experience working in an office environment.
  • Ability to work to tight deadlines in a busy office setting.
  • Experience handling multiple tasks in a high-volume, challenging environment.
  • Good organizational skills.
  • Excellent time management.
  • Strong written and verbal communication skills.

All roles require candidates to have the entitlement to work in the UK. Mears does not currently offer visa sponsorship.

To drive a Mears vehicle, candidates must be over 21, have held their license for more than 3 months, and have fewer than 9 points.

All roles are subject to relevant DBS/security checks before employment begins.
