Annual salary: up to £15,704.00

Business Support Apprentice

Tannochside

Salary: £7.71per hour, 40 hours per week including time at college.

Tools, Chromebook, and uniform will be provided.

About the role

During your apprenticeship within the Tannochside branch, you will be part of the wider team, your main duties will be supporting the team with general administration-based role. To listen, observe and participate in a range of tasks which will enable you gain new skills and knowledge that contribute to the successful achievement of the apprenticeship programme.

To maintain high standards of attendance, punctuality and personal appearance both in the workplace and at college, to ensure that all relevant work tasks and qualifications are achieved on time as instructed by your line manager and college. Attend informal and formal meetings and training sessions to ensure up to date business and job knowledge, communication, skills & progression are maintained.

Accountabilities:

  • Receiving inbound calls from customers/service users
  • Sending and responding to email communication
  • Logging and investigating repairs.
  • Completing assignments – apprenticeship. (2 hours a day provided towards working on assignments)
  • These assignments will be customer service based and will often where possible relate to the work they are currently doing within their job role.

Role Criteria:

  • GCSE National 4 or above in both Math’s and English
  • The ability to learn and develop a thorough knowledge of the skills, technology and safety procedures required to carry out the full range of tasks
  • Strong communication and interpersonal skills
  • The ability to understand and interpret work instructions
  • Be able to establish and maintain good customer/client relationships
  • Hardworking
  • Self-motivated
