Overview

We are looking for a dynamic and forward-thinking Business Relationship Manager to join Renfrewshire Council at an exciting time of transformation and growth.

As a key liaison between ICT, Service Departments and external suppliers, you\'ll play a critical role in fostering partnerships, identifying opportunities, and supporting the delivery of strategic ICT initiatives. Your mission will be to strengthen our relationships and help align council services to support and enable a sustainable local economy.

Responsibilities
  • Develop and maintain strong, productive relationships with internal services, external suppliers, and key stakeholders.
  • Support services in navigating council processes and provide a single point of contact for escalations and opportunities.
  • Collaborate across internal departments to ensure joined-up support and champion innovation, digital adoption, and sustainability in a technology-driven area.
  • Work with a range of stakeholders to implement and sustain technology-driven change and deliver significant improvements and measurable business benefits from identifying, proposing, initiating and leading technology change.
  • Engage in ICT procurement and ICT lifecycle management.
  • Demonstrate sound analytical skills and the ability to understand business requirements; plan, prioritise and organise workload in line with corporate objectives and customer needs.
  • Maintain effective written and verbal communication and develop working relationships with management and staff from diverse backgrounds and disciplines.
