Join us in making a positive impact on the environment and our communities, while being valued and supported in a truly inclusive workplace.

If you want to do more, because you care, we want you on our team.

This Business Intelligence Partner position (12 month FTC) is central to how we support the business giving you the chance to build strong relationships and help shape the BI products our colleagues rely on every day.

Are you confident communicating with people, good at turning conversations into clear plans and interested in working closely with both business teams and developers?Well, if you are, read on.

Due to ongoing growth within Severn Trent and our Business Intelligence team, we’re looking to recruit a Business Intelligence Partner.

As the BI Partner, you will be the first point of contact for reporting and data requests in your aligned business area. You’ll work directly with stakeholders to understand what they need, capture clear requirements and translate those into structured specifications for our developers. Sometimes this will be simple. Other times you’ll explore processes in more detail.

Your role is all about building strong working relationships. You’ll be trusted to guide stakeholders through what’s possible, support them with the reporting they already have, and make sure their new requests are captured properly, prioritised fairly and progressed in the right way. You’ll use light triage and a prioritisation matrix to ensure our team focuses on work that delivers real value.

You’ll partner with our developers throughout the build process, providing context, answering questions and helping ensure the final product meets user needs. Once a report or Power App is ready you’ll support landing it with the business so users understand how to get the best from it.

You’ll be based at our Severn Trent Centre in Coventry. With this being such a critical role, we’re looking for someone who can join us 37 hours a week.

If you enjoy working with people, bringing clarity to complex requests, and helping shape BI products that support thousands of colleagues, we’d love to hear from you.

Skills and experience are important, but character, positivity, and the ability to be a caring attitude matter too.
