Hours: 37 Hours Per Week / 52 Weeks Per Year
Salary: £28,319 - £34,523

Are you passionate about turning data into meaningful insights that drive real change? Newbury College is seeking a Business Intelligence Developer to lead the design and delivery of high‑quality reporting manager and dashboards that empower decision‑making across the institution. This is a pivotal role where your expertise will directly influence the College’s ability to deliver outstanding education and services.

As our Business Intelligence Developer, you will:
  • Lead on the development of dashboards, KPI reporting, and data solutions that support strategic decisions.
  • Design and produce reports using Power BI, SSRS, and SQL, combining data from multiple sources.
  • Collaborate with staff across the College to understand their needs and remove barriers to accessing data.
  • Provide training, documentation, and support to ensure reports are clear, accurate, and user‑friendly.
  • Analyse data sets and guide colleagues in interpreting results.
  • Contribute to upgrades of College MIS systems and proactively suggest improvements to processes and data quality.
We’re looking for someone who brings:
  • Strong knowledge of databases and data warehouses, with advanced SQL skills.
  • Experience developing reporting solutions using Power BI, SSRS, SSIS, and SharePoint.
