Overview

Business Development Representative

Basingstoke - Office and field based

£28K - £32K, OTE £42K - Uncapped commission

Role overview

Due to continued growth my client is seeking a Business Development Representative to join their team in Basingstoke. You will be focussing on outbound lead generation to support their growth strategy. You'll be the first point of contact with prospective customers, helping drive awareness and demand for their solutions. Reporting to the Sales Director you will:

  • Proactively source and qualify new business leads through targeted outbound outreach
  • Use a mix of proactive outreach techniques including cold calling, email sequencing and other methods to connect with key decision-makers and generate interest
  • Book high-quality meetings by understanding prospect challenges, needs and timelines
  • Work collaboratively with marketing and sales to refine campaigns and outreach strategy
  • Keep CRM activity accurate and up to date to maintain momentum in the sales funnel
  • Nurture early-stage conversations and help move prospects closer to becoming customers
  • Stay informed on market trends and competitor developments to sharpen outreach
  • Attend relevant events to represent the client and create meaningful business connections
  • Share prospect feedback and learnings to support continuous improvement in lead generation

Working hours

Working hours are Monday to Friday 9am to 5.30pm.
