The Role

We’re looking for a passionate and results-driven Business Development Manager to join Alamy’s Enterprise Sales team, focusing on new customer acquisition. You will be targeting medium to large potential customers primarily within the Creative Agency and / or Corporate vertical. As a new business representative, you will be responsible for proactively identifying, evaluating, and securing new revenue opportunities, working within a dynamic environment.

You will take the lead in initiating and managing a pipeline for your portfolio, building relationships with key contacts ranging from picture researchers to senior management and C‑Suite executives. Collaborating with the Sales Manager, New Business, you will ensure alignment with Alamy’s vision, strategy, and business goals, while delivering high-quality presentations tailored to your customers’ needs.

You will be responsible for meeting KPIs such as scheduled meetings, pipeline activity (volume and movement across opportunity stages), AOV and close rate. With a data‑driven approach, you will support forecasting and ensure that all proposals align with Alamy’s brand standards.

Key Responsibilities
  • Exceed personal New Business targets by proactively identifying and securing new revenue opportunities.
  • Manage a portfolio pipeline and build relationships with customers at all levels.
  • Collaborate with sales leadership to ensure agreements align with Alamy’s goals.
  • Working with Enablement, prepare and deliver high‑quality, tailored presentations.
  • Identify customer needs, securing incremental revenue from established clients.
  • Achieve KPIs, report on performance, and address areas of concern.
  • Provide data‑led projections to support forecasting and ensure proposals meet brand standards.
About you

To excel in this role, you’ll need proven track record in securing new business at the enterprise level and achieving revenue targets. You will also need :

  • Strong commercial acumen, with the ability to present clear ROI and tailor approaches to achieve targets.
  • Meticulous management of Sales Force pipeline and accurate forecasting skills
  • Expertise in networking, building relationships, and influencing at senior levels.
  • Excellent contract negotiation skills and experience in leading commercial conversations.
  • Resilient, tenacious, and adaptable in a fast‑paced environment.
  • Proficient in using customer management systems, including Salesforce, and familiar with legal considerations around photography rights (Copyright).
  • Highly organized, self‑aware, with strong attention to detail and accuracy.
  • Team player with a hyper focus on contributing at a high level to the company’s growth goals
