Business Development Manager

A leading global supplier of natural food ingredients (spices, essential oils, food colouring) has an immediate requirement for an experienced Business Development Manager (B2B) to grow the UK business.

Location: East Midlands area, including Peterborough, Leicester, Northamptonshire, Kettering, Corby, NN18 8LH

Salary: Circa £35,000 – £45,000 plus bonus and benefits (TBC)

The company currently has a well-organized but small operation in the UK. As a Business Development Manager, your role will be to develop and grow the UK business to reach its full potential.

You will work with existing clients and develop new contacts within the food industry. It is essential that you have a proven sales background within the food industry (import/export), ideally with experience selling spices, herbs, and essential oils. You will be selling directly to food manufacturers, distributors, and similar clients.

This is a demanding role involving extensive UK travel.

The role is suitable for individuals currently working as Business Sales Managers, Business Development Managers, or Sales Account Managers with experience in the food industry.
