Overview

Business Development Manager — Location: Remote & Field Based (London or East Midlands); Salary: Up to £90,000 + Bonus + Car Allowance/Company Car + Fuel Card. A leading provider of battery energy storage and hybrid power solutions is seeking ambitious BDMs to join their growing team. The role involves helping commercial clients optimise energy savings and reduce CO₂ emissions through cutting-edge technology.

Responsibilities
  • Identify and secure new business opportunities across markets and clients.
  • Win new clients and nurture them into long-term partnerships.
  • Create and implement strategies to reach new business opportunities.
  • Manage and grow all new accounts, while maintaining strong relationships with selected existing clients.
  • Attend conferences and industry events to build networks, foster partnerships, and stay ahead of sector trends.
  • Work closely with the Sales Director and wider team to achieve ambitious sales targets.
  • Maintain a strong understanding of our products, the competition, and market positioning.
  • Support fellow Business Development Managers where possible and share best practice.
  • Collaborate with the marketing team to promote brand presence and solutions.
  • Contribute ideas and insights to ensure we stay ahead of the competition.
  • Take full ownership of your diary, balancing remote work with field-based client activity.
