VANRATH are assisting a financial/professional services firm with the recruitment of a Business Development Manager.

We are looking for a highly driven, target/KPI focused salesperson who thrives in a competitive environment and consistently goes the extra mile to win new business.

This is a permanent - Full-Time position based out of a Belfast office, with field visits.

Salary

£40,000 - £55,000 basic + benefits package + Mileage + High OTE (enquire within) + Development and progression opportunities

Responsibilities:

  • Drive new business opportunities across multiple sectors.
  • Build and maintain strong client and partner relationships.
  • Own the full sales cycle, from prospecting to closing deals.
  • Deliver tailored proposals and presentations to win business.
  • Collaborate with marketing and operations on targeted campaigns.
  • Represent the company at client meetings, networking events, and industry functions.
  • Track pipeline progress and report on revenue targets.
  • Identify cross-sell and upsell opportunities with existing clients.
  • Contribute to improving business development processes.

Ideal Person:

  • Proven track record in business development or sales with consistent target achievement.
  • Strong commercial awareness and ability to spot market opportunities.
  • Excellent communication, presentation, and influencing skills.
  • Skilled at building rapport quickly and managing long-term relationships.
  • Self-motivated, driven, and able to work independently as well as in a team.
  • Strong organisational skills with the ability to manage multiple priorities.
  • Full UK driving licence and willingness to travel across Northern Ireland when required.
