Due to growth, our client is looking to recruit a Business Development Executive to join their friendly and hardworking team.

Responsibilities
  • Drive sales across the UK, US and Europe for the company’s services.
  • Cold‑call and prospect clients, and conduct client visits worldwide once opportunities have been developed.
  • Convey complex topics to clients in a range of meetings.
  • Prepare and deliver presentations; teach clients how to forecast and price pharmaceuticals.
Qualifications
  • 2:1 or higher degree in life science, economics or a similar discipline.
  • Good listening skills with the ability to ask the right questions and understand customer requirements in detail.
  • Self‑motivated to continually update knowledge and seek improvement in sales and pharmaceutical sectors.
  • Optimistic, resilient, outgoing and well‑organised with strong prioritisation skills.
  • Effective communicator of complex ideas and topics.
  • Understanding of statistical concepts and spreadsheet modelling is beneficial.
  • Highly numerate and computer literate – especially in Excel.
  • Willingness to travel within the UK and overseas; flexibility to accommodate travel requirements.
Salary & Benefits

Starting salary of £28,000, increasing to £31,000 upon successful completion of the six‑month probationary period, plus a generous bonus scheme reflecting individual performance. A company car allowance will also be offered. Twenty‑seven days holiday a year in addition to Bank Holidays and a matching company pension contribution of 5% of your salary.
