Business Development Consultant – Recruitment

Location: Remote

We are seeking a Business Development Consultant whose sole focus is winning qualified contract opportunities for our delivery and sourcing team to fulfil. This is a pure business development role – you will not be responsible for the full 360 recruitment lifecycle. Your success will be measured by your ability to open doors, build senior client relationships, secure PSL positions, and consistently generate high-quality contract vacancies. You’ll work closely with our experienced delivery team, enabling you to focus entirely on revenue generation and client acquisition.

Key Responsibilities
  • Proactively identify, target, and engage new client prospects across IT, Technology, and Security markets
  • Build and maintain strong relationships with hiring managers, decision-makers, and procurement stakeholders
  • Secure new clients and win placement onto Preferred Supplier Lists (PSLs)
  • Qualify contract opportunities and hand them over to the sourcing and delivery team
  • Develop long-term client relationships to drive repeat business and contract growth
  • Consistently meet and exceed agreed activity, pipeline, and revenue targets
What We’re Looking For
  • Proven experience in recruitment business development, with a strong focus on contract recruitment
  • Demonstrated success in winning new clients and securing long-term agreements
  • Excellent communication, relationship-building, and negotiation skills
  • A proactive, resilient, and self-motivated sales mindsetExperience using and understanding go-to-market (GTM) tools, processes, and sales functions
  • Knowledge of IT, Technology, or Security markets is advantageous but not essential
