Business Development Account Manager – Location: Northampton; Salary: £24,000 - £32,000 per annum (DOE). Driving Licence & Own Vehicle Required.

We're working with a market-leading company in the construction and built environment sector that's on the lookout for a Business Development Account Manager to join their dynamic and ambitious team. Whether you're just starting out or already have some experience, this is a rare opportunity to develop real-world commercial skills within a supportive and fast-growing business.

This role is not a call centre job - there are no high-pressure targets or scripted calls. Instead, you'll focus on building genuine relationships with clients, managing real projects, and helping businesses grow. You'll receive full training and a personalised development plan to get you where you want to go.

What You'll Be Doing
  • Manage a portfolio of clients and become their go-to contact for ongoing projects
  • Speak to prospective businesses and uncover new opportunities (all B2B)
  • Carry out essential admin tasks and keep records up to date and accurate
  • Build strong client relationships through high-quality, consultative communication
  • Use top-tier tools, data, and strategy to support campaigns and outreach efforts
  • Prepare for and attend regular review meetings with your clients
  • Continuously develop your sales and business development skills through hands-on experience and mentorship

  • Comfortable speaking to people on the phone in a professional setting
  • Organised, detail-oriented, and proactive
  • Able to demonstrate strong work ethic and business awareness
  • Confident using basic IT systems (you\'ll complete a short typing test)
  • Experience in customer service or any client-facing role is a bonus
  • Please note: Due to the office location, a driving licence and access to your own vehicle is essential.
