Business Controller / Management Accountant

Location: Belfast (Hybrid - up to 2 days WFH once trained)

Contract: 12 months (with potential extension)

Rate: £35/hr PAYE | £46.82/hr Umbrella

Security Clearance: BPSS+ (handled by Airbus)

Start Date: Targeting 1st October 2025

Airbus is looking for a proactive and commercially minded Business Controller / Management Accountant to join our Belfast team. What You'll Be Doing

  • Lead the budgeting and forecasting process across business units, ensuring alignment with Airbus' financial goals.
  • Partner with operational managers to evaluate and support performance improvement projects and investment proposals.
  • Deliver insightful financial reporting and analysis to highlight risks, opportunities, and performance trends.
  • Provide financial challenge and support to help teams meet their targets and drive continuous improvement.
  • Contribute to controlling activities across recurring costs, inventory, non-recurring costs, and CapEx.

What We're Looking For

  • CIMA qualified (or equivalent) with at least 2 years' post-qualification experience in a manufacturing or commercial setting.
  • Strong experience with SAP or similar financial systems.
  • A confident communicator who can influence stakeholders at all levels - locally and internationally.
  • A team player with a continuous improvement mindset and a proactive approach to problem-solving.
