On behalf of M&G, AMS is looking for a number of Business Analysts - Financial Crime (Asset Management) to be based in London. This is an initial 6-month contract, offered on a hybrid working model.

Job description - the role :

We are looking for a hands-on individual with a strong background in financial crime, asset management, business change, and experience contributing to the successful delivery of complex transformation initiatives.

Key Responsibilities for this role:

  • Analyse existing standards, identify compliance gaps, and support the implementation of new standards.
  • Assist in designing and embedding new processes and procedures to align with transformation goals.
  • Collaborate with stakeholders to drive business change across financial crime initiatives.
  • Provide project management support, including tracking progress, coordinating tasks, and ensuring timely delivery.
  • Facilitate workshops, document requirements, and translate business needs into actionable plans.
  • Actively contribute to implementation activities, working closely with cross-functional teams.

Candidate Profile: Skills & experience

  • Proven experience as a Business Analyst with a background in business change and transformation.
  • Strong Asset Management background.
  • Strong knowledge and understanding of financial crime compliance (AML, KYC, etc.).
  • Demonstrated experience in large-scale implementation projects (not remediation-focused).
  • Some project management experience, with the ability to support planning and delivery tasks.
  • Excellent communication skills, with the ability to influence and collaborate effectively with stakeholders at all levels.
  • A proactive, hands-on approach - willing to get involved in detailed work when required.
