This role is based in Farnborough, Hampshire with 2 days per week in the office. Our office is within walking distance of the train station and has free parking. This is a full‑time position, however work life balance is important to us and so we are open to discussion on flexible working patterns (minimum 4 days per week).

Salary: £40,000 - £60,000 + bonus

6 month fixed term contract

About the role

You will play a key role in driving the success of our UK group business, ensuring that the requirements of our business and external customers are clearly identified, documented, analysed, and implemented. You will take responsibility for translating business requirements into deliverables and work with the delivery teams from project initiation through to completion. This opportunity presents a fantastic chance for someone to become an integral part of our company’s ongoing progression, with the opportunity to develop new, and improved, business solutions.

Operationally, you will be responsible for participating in project meetings, collaborating with delivery teams, providing ongoing support, preparing and delivering presentations to stakeholders, creating and maintaining project documentation.

  • Analyse business requirements and translate them into functional specifications.
  • Collaborate with cross‑functional teams to develop and implement solutions to meet business needs.
  • Develop detailed business process models, including process maps and data flow diagrams.
  • Conduct gap analysis to identify areas for improvement and recommend solutions.
  • Participate in the design and testing of new systems and processes.
  • Manage stakeholders’ expectations and ensure timely delivery of project deliverables.
  • Keep up to date with industry trends and advancements in technology within the travel industry.
  • Work closely with the project managers to communicate project status, risks, and benefits to stakeholders as needed.
Am I the right person?
  • Bachelor’s degree (or equivalent) in business administration, computer science, or a related field.
  • Solid experience in a Business Analyst role.
  • Strong analytical and problem‑solving skills.
  • Experience with business process modelling and requirements gathering.
  • Ability to work with cross‑functional teams and manage stakeholders.
  • Ability to understand business functionality and translate it into application requirements.
  • Ability to partner with delivery teams to identify course of resolutions.
  • Excellent understanding of business complexity and project inter‑dependencies.
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills – someone who can explain technical concepts to non‑technical audiences.
  • Travel industry experience and/or knowledge of travel technologies, such as booking engines, back‑office and customer‑facing systems will be an advantage.
  • A positive and engaging attitude is an absolute must to both motivate and inspire the business around you.
  • Personable, pro‑active, professional and able to demonstrate full commitment to exceptional customer care and service in all activities.
