Job summary

A leading property consultancy in Greater London is seeking an experienced Building Surveyor to join their planned works team. This role involves assisting with cyclical maintenance for various social housing clients. Ideal candidates will have a strong understanding of building contracts and the RIBA Plan of Works, along with excellent communication and negotiation skills. Candidates should be detail-oriented, able to manage deadlines, and have technical competency in construction processes and project delivery frameworks.

Qualifications

• Strong understanding of RIBA Plan of Works.
• Strong understanding of building contracts, in particular JCT.
• Excellent communication, negotiation, and documentation skills.
• Ability to manage deadlines and coordinate multiple stakeholders.
• Detail oriented with strong record keeping and reporting capability.
• Technical competency in construction processes, quality standards, and project delivery frameworks.
