Description: We are hiring for our client, a leading organisation in the Built Environment sector, who require a skilled Building Surveyor with Project Management to join their team in Northern Ireland. This is an exciting opportunity to play a key role in Planned Maintenance Schemes across NI.

Overview

Building Surveyor / Project Manager – Belfast

The Role
  • Attend project briefs and prepare surveys and works programmes.
  • Monitor progress, produce weekly reports, and present updates to clients.
  • Review consultant drawings, costs, and reports.
  • Advise on property defects, maintenance, and compliance matters.
  • Liaise with tenants, contractors, QS teams, and other stakeholders.
  • Oversee site teams to ensure quality, safety, and budget compliance.
  • Conduct inspections and quality checks throughout project stages.
  • Support SHEQ and H&S compliance, producing handover documentation.
The Person
  • Degree in Building Surveying or Construction related.
  • 3 to 5 years of experience in Surveying / Project Management.
  • Social Housing experience desirable.
  • Strong problem-solving and analytical skills.
  • Knowledge of building regulations, planning, and H&S legislation.
  • Proficiency in CAD and relevant software.
