Job summary

A well-established MEP design consultancy in Bradford is seeking a Design Engineer to support mechanical layouts for various sectors including healthcare and education. The ideal candidate will have strong AutoCAD skills and at least 2 years of experience in mechanical building services. This role offers a salary between £30,000 and £45,000 depending on experience, with immediate consideration for applicants.

Qualifications

• Experience producing mechanical building services drawings.
• 2+ years’ experience in a similar role.
• Ability to work from engineer markups and specifications.

Responsibilities

• Creating accurate 2D drawings and schematics using AutoCAD.
• Working closely with Mechanical Engineers to deliver coordinated designs.
• Supporting engineers with markups, revisions and project updates.

Skills

Strong AutoCAD skills (2D essential; 3D advantageous)

Understanding of HVAC systems

Mechanical building services experience

Good communication skills
