A rapidly growing facilities management company in Chester is seeking a Building Manager to lead FM and Operations teams in a large commercial building. The successful candidate will manage site teams, ensure compliance with health & safety standards, and build relationships with clients and property managers. This permanent position offers a salary of up to £35,000 per annum, alongside other benefits.

Qualifications

  • Experience of managing Facilities Management, including retail FM.
  • Strong health & safety knowledge (IOSH Managing Safely).
  • Excellent communication and stakeholder management skills.
  • Ability to manage budgets, reports and client meetings.

Our client, a rapidly growing facilities management company, is recruiting a Building Manager to lead the FM and Operations teams at a Large Commercial Building in Central Chester. The Building Manager will build relationships with onsite clients, the property managers and the landlord's representatives. A strong communicator is therefore essential.

Responsibilities
  • Manage and lead the site teams for security, cleaning and maintenance to ensure the site operates effectively.
  • Ensure the site is compliant with health & safety standards.
  • Support service charge budgets, oversee fit out works, generate reports and present them at client meetings.
  • Build and maintain relationships with onsite clients, property managers and the landlord's representatives.

This is a permanent opportunity and the role is 40 hours per week.
