A leading charity organization in Greater London is offering a BSc Industrial Placement Student position within their Immunogenetics team. We are looking for a BSc Industrial Placement Student to join our Immunogenetics team.
Title:BSc Industrial Placement Student
Salary: £25,963 per annum
Contract: 13-month fixed term, fromJuly 2026
Hours: 35 per week (standard Anthony Nolan working hours)
Location:Fully site-based -Anthony Nolan Research Institute,Hampstead, London
Contribution to a long running, UK-wide research project investigating genetic and clinical factors affecting stem cell transplant outcomes.
Assist with preparation, distribution and receipt of blood and cheek swab sample collection packs.
Responsibility for the daily collection, sterile separation of lymphocytes and the appropriate storage of these samples.
Enter and maintain accurate clinical data on our database. Ensuring that all material (biological, clinical and data) is collected, processed, stored and maintained according to current ethical and laboratory guidelines.
Extract DNA from samples, perform quality assessments, and prepare them for future use.
