Job summary

A leading healthcare provider in the UK is seeking a full-time Consultant Breast Radiologist to join their team in Bury St Edmunds. The role involves maintaining high clinical standards in radiology services, delivering breast screening, and providing teaching and training to medical staff. Applicants must hold an MBBS or equivalent, possess full GMC registration, and have relevant clinical training and experience. This position offers a competitive salary ranging from £109,725 to £145,478 per year Pro Rata.

Qualifications

• Clinical training and experience equivalent to that required for gaining CCT in Clinical Radiology.
• Experience of implementing IRMER Regulations.
• Interests that complement the department.

Responsibilities

• Maintenance of evidence-based clinical standards in Radiology services.
• Active member of team delivering breast screening according to NHS BSP standards.
• Teaching and training of Radiology SpRs, Radiographers, Medical Students, and SAS doctors.

Skills

Demonstrable skills in written and spoken English

Experience in running MDTs

Ability to take full and independent responsibility for clinical care of patients

Education

MBBS or equivalent

Full GMC registration with a licence to practise

Entry on the GMC specialist register in Clinical Radiology
