Company Overview

Our client is a well-respected and long-established distributor of construction supplies / building materials and electrical products. Their branch is in the Barnsley area and requires a new Branch Manager. This is a busy site and it needs someone to keep it going in the right direction.

Ideal Candidate

This role requires a special someone – ideally a proven Branch Manager, Depot Manager or General Manager who must currently be working in the construction supply sector. Current Assistant Managers can also be considered if they can demonstrate strong and proven management experience. Candidates should have demonstrable experience in sales, negotiation and stock control.

Key Responsibilities
  • Run the branch, ensuring optimal operation and profitability.
  • Lead and develop the team, providing guidance and support.
  • Drive sales and manage stock levels.
  • Maintain P&L, stock and service accountability.
  • Strategic planning and management of the site.
