Job description

We are seeking a dedicated and compassionate Complex Care Support Worker to join our team in Hitchin, Hertfordshire.

In this role, you will provide high-quality care and support to individuals with complex health needs, ensuring their comfort, safety, and well-being.

Working Hours:

Monday - 9:30 am to 12:00 pm and Tuesday - 11:30 am to 3:00 pm

Parents are looking for support on Monday 9:30 am - 12:00 pm and Tuesday 11:30 am - 3:00 pm, with a driver/carer to support taking clients to equine therapy and swimming.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Deliver personalized care and support to clients with complex health conditions.
  • Assist with daily living activities, including personal hygiene, mobility, and settling during the night.
  • Administer medication and monitor health conditions.
  • Provide emotional support and companionship.
  • Maintain accurate records of care provided and report any changes in clients’ conditions.
  • Collaborate with healthcare professionals and family members to ensure comprehensive care.
Requirements:
  • Previous experience in a similar role, preferably in complex care.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
  • Compassionate, patient, and empathetic nature.
  • Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
  • Flexibility to work the specified hours.
