Salary: £30k DoE

Are you a detail-driven Bookkeeper with a passion for precision? A modern and forward-thinking accountancy practice is seeking an experienced Bookkeeper to play a key role in supporting its diverse portfolio of clients.

Responsibilities
  • Managing client accounts with accuracy and efficiency
  • Processing VAT returns in line with current HMRC regulations
  • Reconciliation of bank accounts, preparing journals, and maintaining ledgers
  • Liaising directly with clients to gather information and resolve queries
  • Supporting our accountants with month-end and year-end tasks
What we\'re looking for
  • Solid bookkeeping experience (ideally within an accountancy practice)
  • Strong knowledge of VAT rules and deadlines
  • Proficiency with accounting software (Xero, QuickBooks, Sage, or similar)
  • Excellent attention to detail and organisational skills
  • Confident communicator who enjoys building client relationships
