A healthcare provider is seeking a highly motivated individual to join the Medical Electronics team at Yeovil District Hospital. We are looking to recruit a highly motivated individual to join the busy Medical Electronics team at Simply Serve Ltd, Yeovil District Hospital to provide a comprehensive service, carrying out the routine calibration, maintenance, repair and management of Medical devices and other Equipment.
Simply Serve Ltd is a Wholly owned subsidiary of Somerset NHS Foundation Trust.
The Medical Electronics Department is accredited to ISO 9001:2015 and maintains the highest standards of quality and service delivery for Yeovil District Hospital and other Healthcare providers.
The department operates from a modern well equipped area located centrally within the main hospital building. The role is based within the hospital and will take you into most wards and departments and bring you into contact with most staff groups, patients and members of the public. The role supports clinical and various non clinical departments and wards across Somerset NHS Foundation Trust and Other Healthcare organisations . There will be a requirement to travel to outlying hospitals, Healthcare locations to support community services.
This will be an exciting opportunity for you to develop your existing skills and experience and work within a well-respected multi disciplinary, customer focussed Healthcare Science team.
The Medical Electronics Department supports professional development to facilitate career progression within the department should opportunities arise.
As a Technical member of the Medical Electronics Team you will provide effective and economic management of Medical Equipment for the Trust, and community organisations for which it is responsible by fault finding, repair, overhaul, calibration, safety test and planned preventative maintenance.
You'll work collaboratively on a day to day basis with the Medical Electronics team while building relations with clinical and non clinical staff to ensure service needs are met.
The working hours are 37.5 hours per week, Monday to Friday 08.30am to 05.00pm There may be a future requirement to take part in an on call rota.
Full Driving Licence required.
