Job summary

A financial services firm in Greater London is seeking a Back Office Clerk for a permanent full-time role. Responsibilities include settlement of transactions, preparation of reports, and monitoring of accounts. The ideal candidate will have familiarity with settlement systems, knowledge of money market products, and fluency in English along with conversational Japanese. Qualifications

  • Familiarity with settlement and custodian systems.
  • Understanding of UK, EU, and Japanese regulatory requirements.
  • Ability to process audit requests.

Responsibilities

  • Carry out settlements for money market deals, securities purchases and sales.
  • Prepare daily and monthly reports on treasury positions.
  • Prepare regulatory returns and other internal reports.

Skills

Familiarity with settlement and custodian systems (CHAPS, Euroclear)
Knowledge of money market and securities products
PC literate (Word, Excel, Lotus 1-2-3)
Bloomberg
Fluency in English
Conversational Japanese
