Operating across commercial, residential, education, healthcare, and public sector developments, they pride themselves on collaboration, reliability, and excellence. Due to continued growth, they are now seeking an experienced Bid Writer to join their pre-construction team.

The Role

As Bid Writer, you'll be central to the success of our client's work-winning function. You will be responsible for producing clear, compelling, and persuasive submissions for tenders, frameworks, and PQQs. Working closely with estimating, technical, and delivery teams, you will ensure that each bid showcases the contractor's strengths, capabilities, and added value.

Key Responsibilities
  • Writing and editing high-quality tender and bid submissions.
  • Researching and tailoring responses to meet specific client and framework requirements.
  • Collaborating with technical teams to develop content, case studies, and CVs.
  • Managing and maintaining a library of bid content and supporting material.
  • Ensuring submissions are compliant, persuasive, and delivered to deadline.
  • Contributing to continuous improvement in bid quality and strategy.
Candidate Profile
  • Previous experience in a Bid Writer role, ideally within construction or the built environment.
  • Exceptional written communication skills with strong attention to detail.
  • Ability to translate technical information into clear, client-focused narratives.
  • Strong organisational skills and ability to manage multiple bids simultaneously.
  • Proficiency in MS Office; experience with bid management tools advantageous.
  • A proactive, collaborative approach to working with colleagues and stakeholders.
