Job summary

A leading consultancy in civil engineering is seeking an experienced Bid Manager to oversee bids for rail and drainage projects. The ideal candidate will have at least 10 years of experience in bid management and will benefit from a hybrid working model and a competitive salary package. Responsibilities include managing bids, identifying opportunities, and collaborating with the team. Excellent growth and development opportunities are promised.

Qualifications

  • 10 years of experience as a Bid Manager in civil engineering/construction.
  • At least 5 years of experience working as a Bid Manager on rail and drainage projects.

  • Collaborate with the Estimator and report into the Rail Director.
  • Operate on a portfolio of rail drainage and civils projects.

Overview

Are you a Bid Manager with experience working on rail and drainage projects? Do you have experience in managing incoming bids and meeting bid deadlines?

Location: West Drayton, Maidstone, Swindon, Cardiff or Fleet office + 3 days working from home

Salary: £60,000 to £70,000 per annum DOE + car allowance circa £4800 + 10% bonus scheme

Responsibilities
  • Manage incoming bids and ensure bids are completed on time.
  • Identify new bid opportunities.
  • Collaborate with the Estimator and report into the Rail Director.
  • Operate on a portfolio of rail drainage and civils projects nationwide with no pricing involved.
