Overview

Now Hiring: Senior Bid Writer - Defence (MOD) FM Soft Services. Remote-first (occasional London meetings). 6-month contract | November 2025 start. PAYE option or up to £650/day (contractor).

We're looking for an experienced Senior Bid Writer to join a high-profile Defence sector project, focused on Facilities Management (FM) soft services. This is a hands-on writing role — you'll be shaping compelling, technically robust responses that win. This isn't about managing the process — it's about rolling up your sleeves, writing, and making every submission count.

Responsibilities

• Draft clear, persuasive bid responses for MOD FM submissions.
• Work with SMEs and solutions leads to capture insight and strengthen answers.
• Ensure content aligns with MOD standards, tone, and scoring criteria.
• Play a key role in staged submissions, with the first major deadline in January 2026.

Qualifications

• Proven bid writing experience for public sector/Defence contracts.
• Ability to turn complex technical and operational info into high-scoring responses.
• Confident engaging with SMEs and challenging assumptions.
• Strong knowledge of Defence/MOD environments (bases, mess facilities, accommodation).
• Available full-time from November 2025
