Overview

Buckingham Futures is on the hunt for a Technical Surveyor for a Local Authority based in London. You’d be focusing on maintaining and improving temporary housing by leading property inspections, overseeing contractors, and producing high-quality technical reports.

Key Responsibilities

• Conduct property inspections and advise on repairs, adaptations, and maintenance
• Issue and manage works orders
• Lead on disrepair claims, HHSRS risk assessments, and legal investigations.
• Produce technical survey reports
• Manage responsibilities under PSL leases, including voids, handbacks, and damage claims.
• Support procurement, budgeting, and cost forecasting using the schedule of rates.
• Liaise with landlords, contractors, and residents, including handling disputes and legal matters.
• Maintain accurate records, utilise technical equipment, and ensure health and safety compliance
