Bench Hand Joiner
Location: Leicester
Salary: £14.50 – £18.00 per hour (depending on experience) + overtime available
Hours: Monday – Thursday 7:00am – 4:00pm, Friday finish 1:00pm
Contract Type: Permanent, Full-Time

About the Role A fantastic opportunity has arisen for skilled or semi-skilled Bench Hand Joiners to join a busy manufacturing team in Leicester. The role focuses predominantly on door production, working within a well-established workshop environment.

Key Responsibilities

• Carry out bench joinery work, primarily focusing on the production of doors.
• Operate woodworking machinery, hand tools, and power tools safely and effectively.
• Read and interpret technical drawings to produce high-quality work.
• Work to precise measurements and standards of finish.
• Maintain a tidy and safe working environment in line with H&S regulations.
• Contribute to team productivity while taking pride in craftsmanship.

Skills & Experience

• Previous experience as a Bench Hand Joiner, Cabinet Maker, or similar woodworking role.
• Competent in the use of woodworking machinery and both power/hand tools.
• Ability to read and work from technical drawings.
• Good attention to detail with a strong focus on quality.
• Semi-skilled candidates with relevant workshop experience will also be considered.
• Willingness to learn new techniques and develop further within the role.
