A leading consulting business in the UK is seeking a BEMS Consulting Engineer to work on exciting projects. This role involves conducting system surveys, managing tenders, and producing detailed designs. The ideal candidate will have an HNC level qualification in engineering and commercial experience in the building services industry. • Complete feasibility studies and energy management surveys.
• Manage projects, report on progress, and handle contract administration.

Responsibilities

• Conducting system condition surveys, producing reports/recommendations
• Complete feasibility studies, energy management surveys & specification reviews
• Produce concept designs, performance specifications & detailed design development
• Engaging in tender management and tender vetting on behalf of the client
• Project managing, project progress reporting & contract administration
• Specifying maintenance contracts & assisting clients with auditing maintenance contracts

Qualifications

• Minimum HNC level related engineering (electrical/mechanical) qualification
• Commercial experience in building services industry
• Experience as a BMS/BEMS/project/commissioning/control systems engineer is preferred
• Technical knowledge of either Trend, Tridium, Honeywell or legacy BEMS systems is preferred
• Technical/design skills in Controls, BEMS/BACS and project management is ideal
• Excellent interpersonal skills and ability to communicate at senior level
