Behaviour Support Worker


An amazing specialist school in the heart of Slough are on the hunt for a Behaviour Support Worker to join their team starting ASAP.


The school hiring a Behaviour Support Worker:


  • Cater for children who have been diagnosed with social, emotional and mental health needs (SEMH) and barriers to their learning

  • They focus on helping these children access their education in the same way as their mainstream peers

  • Each child has an individualised plan and curriculum

  • They facilitate and focus on providing specialist education, where educators and the multi-disciplinary team provide personalised and specific interventions to support learning

  • This school offer a supportive environment where you will be making a difference day in and out

What the role as a Behaviour Support Worker entails:


  • You will be facilitating and providing specific interventions to aid in the children’s learning

  • You will facilitate a safe and secure environment for learning to take place

  • You will encourage students to achieve the best they can academically, while also adding to their personal growth

  • You will keep track of their academic achievements

  • Have a good understanding of the importance of safeguarding


Qualities you will need to be a great Behaviour Support Worker:

  • Be patient and willing to adapt your approach to meet the needs of the students

  • Experience working with children and especially children with SEN will be advantageous but not essential
