An educational support provider in London is seeking a Behaviour Support Assistant to monitor and support students in Primary schools. This rewarding role involves addressing behavioral issues, assisting teachers, and acting as a strong role model for students. Overview

Behaviour Support Assistant - Lambeth

Remedy Education is currently working with a range of Primary schools in the diverse borough of Lambeth who require Behaviour Support Assistants to start ASAP.

The job will involve monitoring students in lessons, dealing with any issues arising, being a general presence around the school and supporting teachers and other support staff. You will be a strong role model for the students and contribute directly to their success by keeping them on track throughout the day. This will be a challenging role but extremely rewarding for the right candidate as you can make a real difference to students lives.

Responsibilities
  • Monitor students in lessons and address issues as they arise.
  • Provide a general presence around the school and support teachers and other staff.
  • Be a strong role model for students and help keep them on track throughout the day.
Qualifications and skills
  • Have some classroom based experience.
  • Be able to quickly build rapport with students and staff.
  • Have a degree in English, Maths or Science (not essential).
  • A genuine interest in working in education.
  • Be available for work at least 3 days a week.
  • Enthusiasm and desire to help students achieve.
