Are you ready to make a real difference in a child’s school journey? We’re looking for a caring and resilient Behaviour & Learning Mentor to work 1:1 with a pupil in a welcoming primary school in Chelmsford. The role is centred on supporting a child with social, emotional, and mental health (SEMH) needs, helping them feel supported, engaged, and motivated in their learning.

What You’ll Be Doing
  • Providing consistent 1:1 support for a child with SEMH needs.
  • Encouraging positive behaviour and emotional resilience.
  • Supporting learning across the curriculum in and outside the classroom.
  • Helping the pupil develop social skills and self-confidence.
  • Working closely with the teacher and SENCO to adapt strategies to individual needs.
