A leading financial institution in London seeks a Data Management Specialist to oversee data processes and enhance data quality. Candidates should possess strong SQL and Python skills, have experience with ETL tools, and be educated in a STEM field with at least 5 years in a financial setting. The successful candidate will join the Business Change and Governance team of the Banking COO team contributing to a critical project focused on the collation and management of financial data. This project aims to support key strategic decisions and enhance the effective operation of the European CIB Banking business.
You will support the Business Change team through the creation of ETL pipelines and automated processes for ingesting and processing financial data as well as developing, managing and enhancing our Banking COO data warehouse and data models, creating a foundation for internal reporting and analytical purposes. The ideal candidate will be a proactive self‑starter with SQL and Python skills and knowledge of cloud platforms. You will be a central part of the project driving CPM analysis via the high‑quality data that you and your colleagues produce. During the project you will be the team’s main point of contact with third‑party data solution providers, Business Reporting, Finance, Chief Strategy Office and regional data providers, ensuring the data we receive is up‑to‑date and consistent and working with those teams to enhance data provision processes and automate where possible.
