Job summary

A local primary school is looking for a dedicated individual to support children's learning from Nursery to Year 2. Responsibilities include preparing resources, undertaking playground and lunch duties, and assisting class teachers. Ideal candidates should possess GCSE grades C in English and Maths, with effective communication skills, confidence, and a good sense of humor. Experience with SEN children is desirable. Start date ASAP.

Job description
Overview

The role will include responsibilities such as: supporting children's learning (Nursery to Year 2), undertaking playground duties, preparing resources, assisting the class teacher as well as a lunch duty. An interest in working with SEN children or in our Nursery setting would be an advantage. Start Date: ASAP

Qualifications
  • GCSE grades of at least 'C' in English and Maths
  • The ability to read and write fluently, with confidence in maths
  • Self-confidence, common sense and maturity
  • A good sense of humour and effective communication skills
  • Adaptability and enthusiasm
  • SEN experience (desirable but not essential)
  • Be confident to work with pupils from Nursery to Year 2
