Job summary

A local primary school is looking for a dedicated individual to support children's learning from Nursery to Year 2. Responsibilities include preparing resources, undertaking playground and lunch duties, and assisting class teachers. Overview

The role will include responsibilities such as: supporting children's learning (Nursery to Year 2), undertaking playground duties, preparing resources, assisting the class teacher as well as a lunch duty. An interest in working with SEN children or in our Nursery setting would be an advantage. Start Date: ASAP

Qualifications

• GCSE grades of at least 'C' in English and Maths
• The ability to read and write fluently, with confidence in maths
• Self-confidence, common sense and maturity
• A good sense of humour and effective communication skills
• Adaptability and enthusiasm
• SEN experience (desirable but not essential)
• Be confident to work with pupils from Nursery to Year 2
