A healthcare organization in Bromley is looking for an Advanced Clinical Practitioner to provide care from diagnosis to treatment for patients. The successful candidate will work within their professional boundaries, participate in collaborative healthcare practices, and support various patient needs. Opportunities for supervised sessions will be offered for newly qualified practitioners. This position may involve working with diverse patient presentations, enriching clinical experience and skill development.
BGPA is offering an opportunity for either an experienced Advanced Clinical Practitioner or someone newly qualified who would like to gain experience in different areas with the potential to become a permanent member of staff in the future. The post holder will work within their professional boundaries, will provide care for the presenting patient from initial history taking, clinical assessment, diagnosis, treatment and evaluation of care. They will demonstrate safe, clinical decision-making and expert care, including assessment and diagnostic skills, for patients within primary care. The post holder will demonstrate critical thinking in the clinical decision-making process. They will work collaboratively with BGPA and GP Practices to meet the needs of patients, supporting the delivery of policy and procedures, and providing leadership as required. For the right applicant we will be able to offer supervised clinical sessions with our Nurse Practitioner whilst competence and confidence is gained, however, this person will have to commit to regular shifts (2-4 per month).
The post holder will have the opportunity to work in Homeless and Inclusion Health (HIH), Denosumab therapy, enhanced hours and within Bromleag Care Practice which helps care for most of the care homes across the Bromley Borough. Because of this, they will get a variety of presentations and therefore be able to build a good portfolio of practice.
BGPA is a federation of all 43 Bromley practices working collaboratively to enhance the health and wellbeing of Bromley residents, covering over 350,000 patients, 100% of the Bromley population. BGPAs goals are to work strategically with Bromley practices to help secure the best services for patients whilst working together to support member practices in the challenges of a changing NHS. BGPA aims to improve the morale of general practice in Bromley by sharing expertise, services and supporting its workforce. BGPA will make a positive impact on medical services in Bromley by working closely with One Bromley Partners including NHS SEL ICB, local NHS trusts, local providers and patient groups, to improve the delivery of healthcare to the local population.
