A healthcare organization in Weston-super-Mare is seeking a Senior Practitioner to deliver high-quality recovery services and provide leadership to the team. The role involves managing complex cases, conducting clinical supervision, and working collaboratively with various agencies. Ideal candidates will have strong leadership skills and mental health experience, contributing to the development of therapeutic interventions. The Senior Practitioner will work closely with the Team manager and Service Manager as part of the recovery management team to deliver a high quality and effective recovery service.
The postholder will provide leadership support to the team on a day to day basis, chairing meetings, attending MDT's and professionals meetings, managing referrals and allocation of work.
The Senior Practitioner will be involved and support the staff in the team with complex and high risk situations; experience of managing and leading on complex cases is essential.
Support the team in their work through providing both ad hoc and regular clinical and managerial caseload supervision, training and reflective supervision.
Work collaboratively with our local authority colleagues, partner agencies, teams and services.
To contribute to the development of a range of treatment pathways and evidence based therapeutic interventions within the team.
The Senior Practitioner will be responsible for undertaking both early resolution and formal complaint investigations, patient safety reports, participating in patient safety huddles, attending patient safety ratification panels and participating in the managers duty rota.
