A regional mental health service is looking for a Clinical Psychologist to provide assessment and treatment for young people with mental health difficulties. Overview

The post holder will be offering consultation, assessment and treatment to young people with mental and emotional health difficulties alongside their families. The CAMHS team is a supportive, experienced, and progressive multi-disciplinary team with senior psychology support and opportunities for professional development. We encourage flexible working patterns to meet staff and service user needs. Responsibilities
  • Provide a clinical psychology service to the specified Team/Service
  • Assess and treat a specialist workload of clients and maintain associated records
  • Participate in CPD and other developmental activities
  • Undertake research and development (R&D) and clinical audit
  • Clinically supervise Assistant Psychologists, other professionals and trainee Clinical Psychologists
Qualifications
  • You will have be qualified and registered as a Clinical Psychologist
  • You will have experience of working with children and young people, preferably within a community CAMHS service
