Rate:£28 – £34 per hour

About the role:

The Pharmacy team at Pulse is seeking a dedicated and experienced Band 7 Aseptic Services Specialist to join our team in Carlisle. This is a temporary position for 3-6 months, offering a unique opportunity to contribute to our high standards of patient care and safety.

Duties and Responsibilities:

  • Oversee and manage aseptic services within the infirmary.
  • Ensure compliance with all relevant regulations and standards.
  • Collaborate with healthcare professionals to maintain a sterile environment.
  • Provide training and support to junior staff members.
  • Monitor and improve aseptic techniques and procedures.

Qualifications and Experience:

  • Essential:
    • M Pharm (or equivalent).
    • Registration with the GPhC.
  • Desirable:
    • Proven experience in aseptic services, preferably within a healthcare setting.
    • Strong understanding of aseptic techniques and regulatory requirements.
    • Excellent communication and leadership skills.
    • Ability to work effectively in a team and independently.
    • Relevant qualifications and certifications.
