We are seeking a dedicated and experienced Band 6 Stroke Physiotherapist to join our Community Stroke Team at Barts NHS Trust. This role is based in London and involves working within the stroke pathway to provide high-quality physiotherapy services to stroke patients. The successful candidate will play a crucial role in the rehabilitation and recovery of patients, ensuring they receive comprehensive and compassionate care.
What will your responsibilities be:
As a Band 6 Stroke Physiotherapist, you will be responsible for assessing, planning, and implementing physiotherapy treatment programs for stroke patients within the community. Your duties will include conducting comprehensive assessments, developing individualized treatment plans, and delivering therapeutic interventions to enhance patient mobility and function. You will work closely with a multidisciplinary team to ensure coordinated care and will be expected to maintain accurate patient records and documentation. You will provide education and support to patients and their families, promoting self-management and recovery.
