Job summary

A healthcare recruitment agency is seeking two Band 6 CT Radiographers to join the CT Department at Antrim Hospital in Northern Ireland. Candidates must have a degree in Diagnostic Radiography and at least two years of experience in an acute hospital setting, particularly with trauma scanning. Availability for weekend and night shifts is essential. Remote rotations may occur to Whiteabbey Hospital and Causeway Hospital.

Qualifications

• At least 2 years’ experience in General Diagnostic Radiography.
• Current Radiographer HCPC Registration.
• Qualification in IV cannulation or willing to train.

Responsibilities

• Work in the CT Department at Antrim Hospital.
• Participate in regular weekend and night shifts.
• Ensure experience in an acute hospital setting.

Job description

The NHSCT are looking for 2 Band 6 CT Radiographers with CT experience to start as soon as possible at the CT Department, Antrim Hospital, Northern Trust, Northern Ireland with possible rotation to Whiteabbey Hospital Mobile CT scanner. There may also have one vacancy in the Causeway Hospital site too.

The suitable candidates should have experience in an acute, busy hospital setting, and have good experience of CT scanning including trauma.

Must be available Mon-Fri 8.30am-5pm, but regular weekend working will also be essential once entitled in the Trust. CT night shifts may also be required.

Criteria

• At least 2 years’ experience inGeneral Diagnostic Radiography.
• Degree or Diploma in DiagnosticRadiography.
• Current Radiographer HCPCRegistration.
• Qualification in IV cannulation orwilling to train.
• PgCert/Diploma in CT or willingto train.

Other

Hold a current full driving licence which is valid foruse in the UK and have access to a car onappointment. This criteria will be waived in thecase of applicants whose disability prohibits
driving but who have access to a form of transportapproved by the Trust which will permit them to carry out the duties of the post.
