An exciting opportunity has arisen for a motivated and detail-oriented Band 6 Pharmacist to join our client’s dynamic pharmacy team based in Margate. This temporary position is ideal for a pharmacist seeking to contribute to the delivery of high-quality pharmaceutical care within a supportive and professional environment. The role offers the chance to work closely with healthcare professionals to ensure optimal outcomes for our client’s patients.
What will your responsibilities be:
The Band 6 Pharmacist will be responsible for providing clinical pharmacy services across various wards, ensuring safe and effective use of medicines. Duties include reviewing prescriptions, advising on drug interactions and dosages, supporting the implementation of medicines management policies, and contributing to multidisciplinary team meetings. The pharmacist will also be expected to assist in the training and supervision of junior staff and pharmacy technicians, while maintaining accurate records and adhering to all relevant legislation and guidelines.
