Role: Locum Pharmacist
Banding: Band 6
Location: Nottingham
Start Date: ASAP
Duration: until the 30th of May 2025
Hours: Full-time, Monday to Friday, 09:00 AM – 17:15 PM
Rate: £23 – £29 per hour

The Pharmacy team at Pulse is seeking a dedicated and professional Band 6 Pharmacist to join our team in Nottingham. This is a full-time position with an immediate start, running until the end of May 2025.

Key Responsibilities:

You will primarily work within the Dispensary. You will also be required to do some work on Wards. You will dispense medications and provide day-to-day pharmacy services. You will offer advice and treatment for minor health issues to reduce pressure on other healthcare professionals. You will manage and advise on the use of medications for patients with long-term conditions. You will conduct health checks and provide clinical services. You will educate patients on the safe use of their medications and potential side effects. You will collaborate with other healthcare professionals to ensure optimal patient care.

Requirements:

  • Education and Qualifications:
    • GPhC Registered.
    • 1 year pre-registration training.
    • Master’s degree in pharmacy (MPharm) accredited by the GPhC.
    • Previous experience working in an NHS hospital setting is essential.
  • Skills and Knowledge:
    • Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
    • Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
    • Attention to detail and excellent organizational skills.
    • Strong knowledge of medicines and their applications.
