Hourly Rate: £22-24 PAYE via trust Direct Engagement

We are currently seeking a Band 6 Biomedical Scientist specialising in Haematology and Blood Transfusion to join our client’s team in Hampshire. This is a full-time, ongoing position working core hours only, offering a competitive hourly rate and the opportunity to contribute to a busy and well-established laboratory service.

Key Responsibilities
  • Perform full blood counts, coagulation studies, and blood film morphology.
  • Ensure accurate analysis and maintain quality control.
  • Collaborate with clinical teams.
Qualifications and Experience
  • HCPC registration.
  • Degree in Biomedical Science or equivalent.
  • Experience in Haematology/Blood Transfusion within a clinical laboratory.
  • Experience with Bio‑Rad IH‑500.
  • Strong analytical and problem‑solving skills.
  • Excellent communication and teamwork abilities.
  • NHS experience (preferred).
