A Vacancy at Barking Havering and Redbridge University Hospitals NHS Trust. This vacancy is for a motivated and enthusiastic Radiographer to join the general and neuro intervention teams based at Queens Hospital, Romford, with some cross-site working. The role supports the expansion of the Mechanical Thrombectomy Neuro Interventional service and provides a wide range of interventional procedures including advanced Neuro Interventional Radiology and opportunities to work in the cardiology Cath Lab.
The post-holder will operate advanced imaging equipment to produce high-quality diagnostic images and will collaborate closely with radiologists, nurses, and other healthcare professionals to ensure optimal patient outcomes. The Interventional Radiology department promotes a supportive team culture with regular CPD sessions and encourages involvement in research and innovation.
The post-holder will work flexibly to provide routine 12-hour day shifts over the entire 7-day week and participate in the provision of a 24-hour on-call interventional radiology service, under the direction of senior staff, ensuring delivery of high-quality patient care. In liaison with other senior radiographers, the post-holder will supervise junior staff, students, and assistant practitioners.
