Job Description:
We are seeking an experienced Band 6 Locum Paediatric Mainstream Speech and Language Therapist to join our team in Ilford, located in the London Borough of Redbridge. The successful candidate will provide high-quality, evidence-based speech and language therapy services to children within mainstream educational settings

What your responsibilities will be for this Speech and Language Therapy role?

As a Band 6/7 Locum Paediatric Mainstream Speech and Language Therapist your responsibilities include assessing, diagnosing, and treating speech, language, and communication difficulties, as well as developing and implementing individualised therapy plans. The role involves working closely with teachers, parents, and other professionals to support the child’s development and educational progress. You will also be required to maintain accurate records, prepare reports, and participate in multi-disciplinary team meetings.

Requirements:

  • HCPC registration as a Speech and Language Therapist
  • Right to work in the UK
  • Proven experience working with paediatric cases in mainstream settings
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
