An exciting opportunity has arisen for a Band 5 Biomedical Biochemistry Scientist to join a dynamic and forward-thinking laboratory team based in Yorkshire. This role is ideal for a motivated and detail-oriented professional with a strong background in clinical biochemistry. The successful candidate will contribute to the delivery of high-quality diagnostic services, supporting the care and treatment of the client’s patients through accurate and timely biochemical analysis.
The Biomedical Biochemistry Scientist will be responsible for performing a wide range of biochemical tests and analyses using advanced laboratory equipment and techniques. Duties include operating and maintaining Abbott AMS middleware systems, conducting Xanthochromia testing, and utilising the Advanced Instruments Osmometer. The role involves ensuring compliance with laboratory protocols, maintaining accurate records, participating in quality assurance programmes, and collaborating with multidisciplinary teams to support patient care.
